Anodized bronze is the worst. Those came out really nice.
Bug and tar remover gets whipped out for anything that just won't budge.

They came up good
There are two things I use for wheels that I always have around the house -
Dishwashing liquid (morning fresh). It cuts through the grease and grime very well.
WD40 to remove the sticky residue from adhesive wheel weights.

It's also my go to product for wheels, pity it turns lead that funky colour and smells like emptying a neglected kitty litter tray. Apart from that it's great but I disregard the 2 min recommendation on really dirty wheels and spray, wait a couple of minutes, scrub with a scourer, spray again, wait a couple more minutes then rinse without any detrimental effects but your results may vary.
PNP HID, the AIDS of auto electrics.
Yeah I sprayed and brushed, let it sit for a minute or two, then rinsed and brushed again.
Definitely use in a well ventilated area, even outside stay upwind.
