    SR20DE Oil Filter Removal Tool

For those who get frustrated at getting the oil filter out of the SR20DE based Pulsars, there is a Honda motorbike oil filter tool that appears identical to the tool used by Nissan service centres.

The part number is (or was - have had mine for 10 years) 04151-MW0-305. Cost was under $20 when I bought mine.

Thanks to member SoK who contributed this to the old forum.

I remember getting this part number off the old forum and it made life a lot easier. Much less messy and less effort than bashing away at it with hammers, etc., and a very well spent $10 when I bought mine in about 2012. Just be aware that some filters may not fit inside the tool; I vaguely recall that my SSS had a Cooper oil filter when I first bought it and the tool wouldn't go over the top of it. Cue the hammer and screwdriver...
A little bit of this car, a little bit of that car, mix it together and... it's still a heap

Autobarn have just got on range an oil filter removal tool exactly the same as this which comes in 4 different sizes. The smallest size fits our filters is $10.
