Hey fellas first of all thanks for letting me be a part of the club. Ive found a gem that has been sitting in some guys shed for over 4 years. Anyways I picked up somewhat cheap ($1500) and was told it wasnt running anymore due to the fuel pump and he never had the time to fix it. After a bit of time I got the tank out and saw there was black gunk everywhere inside. Certainly explains why the pump is broken, I cleaned it all out new pump and all. Put the tank back in and heard that sweet fuel being pumped around. We cranked the car and it started first time and went like a pearler. But then it started idling extremely rough and would then eventually stall. Without fail it would happen every time.
