So after a few set backs and ludicrous $$$ input (for a Pulsar) I doubt that many could be arsed continuing and choose another direction.

It's only loonies like Tipsi and Vlad who have kahoonies to build 130MPH Pulsars
Another note Ringers was running( still is ) a dog box allowing him to flat shift , I would think there was time saved right there. However being with him driving that thing on the street it looks so paintful haha

In saying that he went through G/Box cases and more drive shafts i could count trying the get that 60Ft time down low (Where we all know the time is)

i dont think its not as un-acheivable today as it was back 2010 and earlier... lots of people currently pushing the required power for an 11 sec pass. E85, fuel and turbo tech has come a long way. drag tyres, suspension setup, a 4/6-puck clutch (that isnt exedy), practice, a good launch and more practice is all it should need really.

the only thing the 11.4 pulsar in the vid (aka butters' car) has ontop of that is custom driveshafts.

Don't be ridiculous, if you go boosted and reach over the 300kw mark you'll hardly ever break anything

You'll never melt Cp pistons, a genuine Greddy turbine wheel, break aftermarket valve springs, custom made Cvs, bend valves, burn through spark plugs, destroy 4 puck ceramic clutches and turn the flywheel blue all the way to the back of it from heat, break PAR output shafts, and punch holes in gearbox casings

These are all myths and would never happen to any one person ever

the Snowy 1000 is coming up and I just noticed the previous FWD winners have had fairly tame cars...

    2014 was a mazda MX6 who hit 216km/h.
2013 was a VW polo that ran 2 secs slower than the MX6.

can someone please enter their turbo pulsar and dominate? kthnx
