    Well Dear Comrades.

The Red Jett turns thirty years old today.

Born in the NISSAN Clayton Plant, Victoria.
    January 22nd, 1992.

By that date stamp, and workers returning from Christmas break, say Jan 15th, it must be one of the very early Oz Spec SSS manufactured. And it still feels new after 30 years. Much loved. Impeccable service history.

I think I could be the last one-owner of a 1992 N14 SSS Oz Spec existing, and actually drove it out of a NISSAN showroom brand new, in May, 1992. Perth. W.A.
    It was fully optioned.

I never dreamed that I would own a car for 30 years. However, the N14 SSS had, and still has, so much character. I always have been/still excited when I know I’m taking the Red Jett out for a run. I bought the babe when I was 39 years old, so yup, that makes me an old fart. However, got my Nissan Maxima J32 2013, (with the rare, sweet spinning honey of a VQ25DE 2.5L V6) for cruising, and the Red Jett for a bruising.

I joined PULSAR.ORG in 2002, and have received many tips and techniques from experienced N14 & SR20DE members. I have donated $’s over the years and believe that I have also helped a lot of newbees.

    SR20DE High Port.

For those that are interested in the Red Jett’s enhancements:
