Thanks. I used a AA batt, and got the speaker wire right.

To dyno, or not to dyno. That is the question.

Well Dear Comrades.
The Red Jett turns thirty years old today.
Born in the NISSAN Clayton Plant, Victoria.
January 22nd, 1992.
For N14 SSS, its Cable-Clutch. Pt No. 30770-58Y10
(can still get them)
I started to clean the calipers in November, and used a Dremel tool to clean the metal. Base coat, Top Coat and Final glass coat. All two sprays each.
Used a full can for each double coating. ...
As I live at the top of this road in the Gold Coast Hinterland, the Red Jett loves the run up. When I feel like a rush, I don't ever get out of third gear.
...
Changed my cap and rotor and noticed that the seal that fits over the dizzy, which the cap sits into was broken and weeping. Not to be confused with the large distributor seal into the cylinder...
Pics taken 1st December 2020, following a three week restoration.
The Red Jett in all it's NEW glory.

Hi Shred,
There is a 'how-to-do' IACV clean in the Technical section for donating members, like you and me.
At the same time, I'll be removing the power fluid canister, as I'd do a power...
Update:
Red Jett goes in tomorrow.
Stay tuned.
Hey Omega, received today.
Can't find a caliper rebuild kit for these AD22VF calipers. Only N15 1.6 litre stuff.
The pistons are in great shape. Need a clean that's all.
Loved the address...
Well Omega, this is your flick:

Update.
Quoted $7,500 for full re-spray, including black bits. A bit of rust removal, dents fixed, bumpers renewed, doors back to gap tolerance, rear hatch rattle fixed, engine bay redone,...
Took the Red Jett out for a spin today. Went to Repco, to get some oil. The dude that served me (fifty-ish), came out to see the SSS. He swooned all over it and remembered them when introduced in...
Mine played up years ago. So now I use the key. Quaint eh?
Also, I use a steering lock, to keep the 'boy hairys' away . . .
Right on Cozzm0.
They all look good and recently I re-greased the front and rear anti-roll bar bushes. That are Whiteline and were quite dry.
All is well.
Hey Leroy,
I hear what you say about BMW parts in the Pug. Only engine parts, that have now been totally revised by Peugeot. Early Citroens, Minis and Pugs (2008 - 2012) were plagued with engine...
Ha. Took possession of the RCZ today. My wife and I have loved this car ever since we saw it at a Pug dealership in 2010, when we purchased our 207cc Sport THP150.
The RCZ is in such great...
I just had to add this for Le Mans fans.
The RCZ's double-bubble roof.
The RCZ roof was derived from this racing car.

What a sight, last lap...
Yet another vehicle to add to the collection.
Red Jett still fantastic, but this RCZ is a beauty.
39,000 klicks, registered in 2015. One of the last few sold in Oz.
In 2015 Lamborghini sold...
I have had the Hurricane headers for 18 years on the Red Jett.
I can recommend them. Wrap them in 'header wrap' as I have done, see pic.

A bit on header wrap:

Hot diggity. Well done, and yes I experienced the same improvements as you did.
Remember, due to the high current, you will need to change dizzy cap and rotor every 20,000 klicks.
Cheers . . .
Hmmm . . . I replaced my fuel pump (under back seat) at 100,000 klicks.
The fuel strainer was filthy.
Incidentally, when I had the Red Jett dyno-tuned at ChipTorque, Gold Coast, Lachlan Ridell...
