As seen on Facebook....

Chasing a plug to make a harness for some foglights in your n15? The body side harness that plugs into the brake master cylinder can be cut off a car at the wreckers

Also Every cooling fan body harness plug from vt,vx,xy commodore is the same also ,same with the n15 hatch boot also has the same plug

Seems like some useful info to have here and will be picking some up for my foglights I got for a steal :D

Thanks for the hot tip! Although I'm struggling to make sense of that information.
I had a bit of a search online but couldn't really clarify what was what.

In my searches, I have found the speed sensor from Nissan RB25 gearboxes uses the same connector as the fog lights in an N15 Pulsar (at the fog light end), in addition to various Isuzu trucks. It seems to be a fairly common connector, but I've been having a lot of trouble trying to source one locally. I also found that z32 300zx's use the same style of connector for their fog lights, but need to be modified slightly in order to work with our fog lights.

I had just planned on using spade terminals on the connector behind the drivers headlight in the Pulsar, but if the correct plug can be sourced locally on the cheap then I'm all ears.

Are you saying the connector circled here on these VY commodore thermo fans is the same as the fog light connector behind the drivers headlight in our cars? If so, great. Any chance you know, or could clarify about the fog light end of business? Cheers.

Unfortunately no idea, I just ripped it from FB assuming it was correct.

I am heading to a wrecker on the weekend and am taking my foglights so I will let you know regarding the commodore situation.

Nope, Dad managed to hit my car and I have been feeling pretty unmotivated, insurance wouldn't do it either because we live on the same property, utter bs.

Getting it back from the shop tomorrow then I will have a sus, i'll update here when I'm done!

Well I am back with answers!

So the male plug for the actual foglight was a **** to find, had a look around the wreckers for about 45mins at commodores only to realise that was the connector for the actual switch (which I already had...).

The male plug for the fog light (as seen in your second pic) I found on some N16 pulsars near the headlights, couldn't find them on anything else.

Hope that helps a bit.

Ok guys, I've got the correct connectors but I had a heap of interest already and most are spoken for. I've got 3 connectors left, $10 each. Cheers.

They're $20 each from NZEFI! Ouch.
