Hey guys ,

Am i to understand the only bolt in seat rails are the brides? Or can someone school me on other options.

I have bride rails in JAPSSS however for my new project im trying to keep costs down.

You could cut n weld the originals although not sure how that would go with the race regs.

I too am in this boat. I'm keen to find out what seats (Recaro, WRX, Evo) if any will bolt to the N14 rails, probably with some sort of adapter plate.

Well after some hours of research it would appear the only rails that can be used are the bride's

Im not to concerned about the mounting of a different seat to the rails as from what ive seen its all pretty standardized for side mounts

Please chime in if anyone discovers any thing that i have missed.

aus spec rails mate. they are bottom mount, easier to remove form the seat than jap ones are. just need to change the bracket on the tunnel.

I used the to mount my seat, then it wasn't low enough, so I cut them up and modded them to suit my needs

I built custom rails from some rectangle tube, some flat plate and original feet that i cut off old rails to bolt to the factory bolt holes.

I had little flex with this mod. After I purchased a Racaro LX-M drivers seat, I fixed into position. No rails, lowered the seat. Fixed in my position only.
