When my power steering belt failed I thought it was most likely due to age, 21 years and 195,000 kms.
When replacing it I noticed the crank pulley didn't look right. The air con / alternator drive pulley section on the crank pulley had moved inwards destroying the power steering belt. I had a GFB underspeed pulley sitting on the shelf so figured it was time to fit it.
Tried removing the pulley with a two legged pulley but it just pulled it apart. Then fabricated my own puller and off it came.
If anybody wants to borrow the puller in Perth they are welcome to.
