Hey Dudes,

Red Jett now with new suspension bushes front and back and new strut dampers, including top strut bearings, is off for a facial.

May cost $3-5 grand, but it will be a 'classic' in one more year. Might donate it to a car museum. Or sell it for $13,000

Going to see these guys. I'll keep ya posted.

Update.

Quoted $7,500 for full re-spray, including black bits. A bit of rust removal, dents fixed, bumpers renewed, doors back to gap tolerance, rear hatch rattle fixed, engine bay redone, front cold air ram intake replaced, etc. Also new OEM SSS badges. And a new windscreen.

Yup, I’m going to do it. I am most likely the last one owner of a N14 SSS Oz. Spec.

Why not? Going into The Panel Shop for two weeks. These dudes are renown for restorations.

Stay tuned for before and after pics.

Very few. I must be the only original owner of a N14 Oz Spec that still looks like off the showroom floor. Still kept the 14 inch wheels because they look so great.

Tyre size are a problem now. I have four new 195/55/14 Toyo tyres on and two spare in the shed. Should last me a while yet.
