    Distributor Leak

    Hi guys.

On my N14 there is a very very small amount of oil coming out from underneth the distributor. I know there not meant to be oil coming out of it but the engine is sound and doesn't lack power but on idle it sounds smoothe but sometimes there is a little putt almost like a misfire except it's not because it sounds fine. From what I know there is an O ring on the internal shaft of the dizzy and seen on another forumn that this could be the culprit. Could anyone inform me on the issue? Thanks Corey.

What's the part number for the seal and is it possible to buy a new bearing for it as well? Corey

Just to clarify as I can't see the model clearly in the image, the model of that bearing is the NSK 6002Z correct? From what I'm seeing online it is 15mm-32mm-9mm. Is this correct?

Took apart the dizzy today. When taking the seal and bearing out I noticed that the seal is the same but a little slimer(not as tall), this has concerned me but should be ok, also the bearing is completely different as the inside diameter is smaller and the outside is smaller, the part number on it was 6200lu and I think is 30mm od and 10 id, the bearing isn't damaged so I cleaned it up and put it back in. The car runs better now but just hope that seal doesn't leak.

    Kind regards
    Corey

The numbers on the dizzy are D4P88-03 A19 02A underneath that 22100 53J02. For the seal the numbers are from the arrow F 35 s 12.45 22 6L Hs Acs. Haven't checked my engine code but the car was made in Nov 91 and the engine is an sr20de.
