To CHIP, or not to CHIP.

In 2004 I had a piggy-back chip soldered onto the ECU in the Red Jett by ChipTorque, Gold Coast. The dude that runs the show is or was Lachlan Riddel.

Set up for 98RON, etc, with it's new cams, etc. Had a retune some three years later 2007 and gained an additional 5 kw over last.

So I think back then in 2004, I got a good deal for a SR20DE. They actually used Tomei Cam settings and then went from there on the Jim Wolfe cams.

However, these days, there is a plethora of dodgy chip deals.

    Cheers.
