    Lubricating Clutch cable

    Hi all,

Has anyone tried to lube up the clutch cable? I know bike guys do it. I am sick of replacing the cable every 2 years.

    Thanks

You can try, but once it get stiff its usually because its worn through the slippery inner lining.

The absolute best solution is a Hydraulic conversion for the clutch actuation. Once you do it, you'd never go back.

My other pulsar has a hydro clutch but this is just the cheap ga16 ****box that gets me from home to work with minimal fuss.

I might try some dry graphite powder.

    Any idea on part number?
