OBD2 connector. Which model started getting them?

Eldest Son tells me my 99 pulsar has an obd2 port. If it does damned if I can see it. He said all cars after 1995 came out with it, but I'm doubting it. So does anyone know what year they started putting them in all cars? Thanks.

the ecu port is inside the car, drivers side right foot, there's a cover over the fuse box. below the fuses in there
quality is remembered long after price is forgotten

Pulsars after 2001 had ODB 2. All before that were OBD 1.

Thanks Cozzm0. More reading after the reply from sss4me had me finding the ecu port is different to an obd2 port. Reason I ask is I was looking at those Bluetooth obd2 readers on fleabay with the idea of using it in my car, but just couldn't see if it had what I wanted, which I now know it doesn't. (Thanks to you two)
