SR20 CAI - what hoses do I need to keep?

    Hey All,

Making a pod filter setup for my pulsar, when I took the intake off last it seemed a spaghetti of hoses, what do I actually need to keep?

    Thanks in advance!

Planning to use a silicone reducer and some steel pipe, drilling and tapping 3 fittings in for the lines as a bit of a project on the holidays.

Take a look at two pics of the Red Jett.

Cold Air Intake at bottom left (passengers side) of front spoiler. Used end of a funnel to increase opening to 120 mm, for ram effect.

80 mm flex pipe to feed into Cold Air Box, encapsulated in a heat protector, then 3-A Racing pod via a BOMZ metal air intake into the throttle body.

    Cheers…

The little filter is in fact a cheap fuel filter, that is a final clean after going through the oil catch can and back into the intake manifold - not seen in bottom left of pic, located behind the coolant reservoir.

Why do you want to fiddle with the AFM?

    Cheers.

I can see the cheap fuel filter at the back for the rocker cover in the middle, I meant the thing on the RHS. The fuel filter is nifty though!

I'm not messing with the AFM, I mean like an adapter for a pod that bolts up to the AFM housing, are these easy to find?

The RHS K&N filter is probably not legit, but lets ERG gases out a little (vent to air). I clean that filter every 20,000.

Note I have removed all the ERG stuff on the intake manifold.

    Here tizz: Your adapter.

Bump, I measured the the stock intake pipe at about 8.5cm, which is about 3.3", what size silicon joiners did you use off the TB, did 3" fit or are you using 3.5"?
