Hey guys wondering if anyone has had any luck with removing the starter motor and how they went about it. Seems to be in a c#*t of a spot nice and tucked away 👎

Car needs to be jacked up. remove from below.

    DISCONNECT BATTERY FIRST !!!!

remove intake pipe and airbox makes the bolts easier to get to up top. Remove power supply and solenoid wire from the bottom.

There are only 2 bolts for the starter to release it. They're on either side of the 'bump' on the gearbox housing below the throttle body. The two starter motor bolts are smaller than the main bellhousing bolts so they're easy to identify. You will need to disconnect the battery cable from the starter motor first as well as the solenoid wire, its difficult otherwise because its usually tight.

DONT FORGET to DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST ! (yeh i'm putting emphasis onto that...)
