Are my wheels/tyres legal?
Probably a dumbo question but I've just changed insurers and was going through the pds.
I explained the wheels I had to aami and they said as long as they're legal, it's fine and I'm covered.
99 pulsar should have, roughly, 175/75/14? I've got 205/65/15. They were on the car when the roadworthy was done so I assumed they are fine.
But what would be classified as illegal?
Edit. Here's a copy of what aami said Yes, we cover non-standard wheels as long as they are legal and the car is in a roadworthy condition.
Basically, we cover all accessories and modifications on the car aside from the ones listed on the website when obtaining a quote, provided they are legally allowed to be on the car.
