    1999 SSS pulsar n15 s2 sr30det engine swap

    Hey all.

Just wondering if it would be posible to put a sr30det in a 1999 sss n15 and what gear box would handle the power?

Assuming you mean SR20DET, yes it can be done, you must use one that comes from an east west configuration such as a bluebird, wingroad or gti-r. You cannot use Silvia RWD motors for a FWD. You can use stock gearbox but it will eventually give out. It will probably last reasonably well on a stock conversion, but add boost and exhaust and other stuff you're outta luck. There are a few gearbox choices but none of them are cheap and easy so carefully consider the extent of what you're getting into.

If you want big power, upgrading the gear box is a must, be prepared to spend some $$$$

There are really only two options. RS5F70A/V or RS6F51A/H gearbox.
