    Removing Rear Garnish

Is the rear garnish where it says P U L S A R removable? I want to grind off the letters and repaint it.

yes, from memory there are three clips that hold it in place, just remove the inner trim and squeeze/poke it til it pops out, use a sander coz its plastic

you have to first remove the side, then the rear plastic trims from the tailgate (flat screwdriver for the clips), then there are 3 x 8mm? nuts that attach it to the rear hatch.
quality is remembered long after price is forgotten

I'm pretty sure the jap/euro version is flat already (if you wanted to buy one of those first).

As enzo said, they're held in with 3 nut/bolts. bolt is in the garnish, nut accessible inside the back of the hatch.

Interesting, not sure how easy it will be to source a Japanese one though, I am planning on repainting a 2-slat grille I have so I may as well do the garnish at the same time. Reckon 400 grit will be enough to sand off the letters?
