The Red Jet's suspension setting… N14 SSS Oz Spec.

    Good to be back dudes…

    FYI:

Recent suspension setting I had done - took 90m minutes to get it right.
    Fantastic job by Dunlop Nerang.
And what a difference driving through the Gold Coast Hinterland twisty roads…

A bit of toe-out on the rear, will make essentially, an unstable condition. What I've done is to enhance rear end instability so it feels livelier.

However, if you look at the Red Jett's suspension improvements, it is more neutral and smoother, reducing understeer, than with no mods. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have the mods.

I have no rear abnormal tyre wear what-so-ever.

    Cheers...

I don't want to speak ill of the settings but toe out at the front and 0 toe in the rear. Is the most neutral in my opinion. I don't think I could handle that much instability in the rear, I like the mods you have done I would just set it up differently

    Tizz OK.

The settings I have had done was recommended to me buy some dude at WhiteLine when I had a long phone conversation with him.

To find a proper wheel alignment place that was determined to give me what I wanted was a long search.
Dunlop Nerang spent 90 minutes getting the setting how I asked for. Some old fart that had been there for 20 years did the job. Best ever. He took the car for a spin and was amazed. And as for me, getting it right after so many average goes by novices, the handling was exceptional. So for me it worked.

Check this out and see the suspension settings for WhiteLine enhanced N14 SSS like mine:

got my wheel alignment done today.

    Didn't take 90 mins though.

Didn't get a print out of the settings either, didn't ask for it though.

It drives straight, the wheel is straight and seems to be good.

Drive to work tomorrow will tell me if its actually any better or not.

    Forgot to mention:

My above said alignment (with Whiteline mods in mind), was done specifically for this road.

I live at the top of this bitumen snake... The rider turns into the infamous road at 0:50

That's why the increased rear toe out is magic.

Certainly rear wheel toe out does make FWD cars more inclined to rotate when turning into a corner
It's most useful and safer at relatively low speeds - at high speed it can really catch you out
Rear toe out also increases the severity of lift off over steer, and when it let's go it's gone for all money

Yes I agree, but with the Red Jett's WhiteLine setup, it is purrrfect.

Check out their recommended alignment settings:
