    N14 fuel sender options

    Hey guys

Just wanting to know if you can use fuel senders off other vehicles on the n14. E.g. off an s15 etc, as I've called the dealerships and repco as well as covs and they have all told me they don't have or can't get them. As everyone else has experienced the same issue with the dodgy fuel gauge reading, what have you used or what plcae do you know of that supplies the fuel senders.

    Cheers

Do you happen to have a part number for the sender?

Couldnt tell you , was only going to say that will be a good way of checking other cars via a part number.

And another primative way (i have used and has worked ) is google the crap out of fuel senders and just visually look at all.

I had a funny reading gauge and picked up a fuel sender from the wreckers,
It was out of a aus spec Q and worked perfectly in my Jap spec SSS so I'd say they are compatible between all N14s,

As for other models I believe you should be able to get ahold if an N14 sender from either the wreckers or someone who is parting one out, I don't see the need for buying it brand new

If you change it, 2 tips,
    1. Replace the seal around the tank lid if it even looks remotely worn/old
    2. Watch your wrists/hands on the edges of the tank, it's stupidly sharp

    Good luck
