newest protech design. mid/top end. the business!!
here's a couple of useful mods for your "next" build. firstly, nissan decided to put in a restriction on the main oil pressure line from the oil filter into the block. the smart play is to remove...
it won't be for everyone, but the hard core circuit racers and drag race guys be aware there is a guy in the usa (mwr technology) now making a roller rocker style rocker arm for ve's, and it has a...
useful things from a p12 20v that your can use on your p11...
1.water pipes. main advantage is the p12 does NOT have the water lines for the throttle body (as its one is dbw). this is handy if you...
SR20's do like very tight lobe centers, when chasing power. n1 cams often have gains by advancing the intake/retarding the exhaust (effectively reducing the centrelines from 104-110 to 100-105)....
some guys use n16 hubs in their n15 to put skyline brakes on. this moves the hubs out about 1cm each side. dunno about the control arms though, or even if they fit.
it does, but there's not much to them at all. probs be structural damage
lower control arms bent. tie rods bent.strut tops busted. limp it to a suspension shop for a look see.
The angles used on the valve grind are determined by the lift of the cam to be used & the required rpm range & capacity of the engine. That being said the VE heads lend themsleves to higher rpm...
Its more the torque, and how you treat it, but 160kw you should be ok. my ve's nearly there, and its been trouble free for 4 years. you should get a lsd diff (mfactory/quaife/ s/h nismo) otherwise...
not 100% on n14, but there is a fix to program a remote on n15. http://pulsar.org.au/forums/showthread.php?115-How-to-Program-a-factory-remote-N15-amp-N16&highlight=program+remote
yes, though the temp sensor may be an issue.

not easy without a remote oil filter block or a sr20ve oil filter block with a sandwich plate, mainly due to the long temp sensor.
got my 26mm one from natrad. not as cheap as ebay etc, but maybe a bit better quality.
he is on f/b. i chat with him often. you use that? he is on the pga and pog.
probably not enough change with a cammed de to warrant 4-1's. worth doing with the higher redline of a ve though. fuji's are a good option if the coin permits on a de.
basically you need your choice of caliper, matching rotors milled down a TOTAL of 8mm off the diameter, then redrilled to 4x100, same as the studs will need to be. n16 hubs to fit the calipers too...
bottle top and sealant
air baffle designed to reduce intake noise. bin it.
yes. but change your old temp sensor and dizzy into the new motor. temp sensor has a different plug. n15 dizzy has internal coil, n14 doesnt. good time to clean out the iacv as well
yes. you will need the old n15 flywheel/clutch/flywheel bolts, temp sensor, dizzy, ecu, and wiring.
unless you got some serious mods (like 12-1+ pistons), your current plug is fine.
yes, that will do. 1/4 remove the aicv hose from the rubber intake pipe b4 the throttle body, and spray into the throttle body whilst the motor is going.
