Last weekend saw the 17th annual Gatton Street Sprints take place in the industrial area of Gatton, QLD. Two PGA-ers where among the field of 120 vehicles, ranging from Clubmans to Cobras and even a Nascar, and everything in between. Andrew (@007adr) picked up 3rd (1:24.200) in the Registered 1600-2000cc class which is an astonishing effort considering his N15 SSS S1 is bog-stock performance and handling wise. This makes a consecutive third placing as Andrew finished 3rd last year in his N14. Can he make it a hat-trick next year in a N16?

Paul (@Paullus) claimed 2nd (1:17.313) in the Registered 3000-4000cc class (forced inducted vehicles carry a 1.7 engine capacity multiplier), which is a great effort considering his front wheels did not have traction for the entire two laps of the street circuit. Throughout the weekend Paul was often spotted under the back of a few Evos eyeing off the rear diff and mumbling "Will this fit my N14?"

Apart from Paul sideswiping a traffic cone chicane Sunday morning which required some light polishing, neither Pulsar saw any damage over the weekend which is a great outcome for both drivers.

Several members abandoned their Saturday morning sleep-in for a wet session of cruise laps at Queensland Raceway. Hosted by Street Factor Garage, seven Pulsars were on track until rain showers forced most drivers off due to traction issues and fear of frizzy hair. However being the NA champ that he is, @ethanolaholic braved the conditions and got his money's worth and was on track for the full 1.5 hours.

Before the rain set in a number of scores were settled and I can only assume Pulsars were victorious every time. Unfortunately the two heavyweights (aka Team2Bar) didn't get to battle however I feel it would be a rather one sided fight.
