Stupidly got a few drops of water down what I think is the inlet pipe when removing my oil filter... Don't ask.

Anyway, I now want to flush the system as I am worried about the water, got a few questions:

1. Is Dexron IID ok? I have Castrol PS fluid and it say ok for Mercan and Dexron IID vehicles

2. Can I just suck out the fluid in the reservoir, or should I take off one of the lines and flush it properly, if so what line do I remove?

3. How much fluid is required?

Can't add much advice, other than in regards to water and #2, the water would probably be at the lowest point in the system. Oil floats on water. But PS fluid may be different. Really don't know. Sorry.

All good, I ended up removing as much fluid as I could using a baster, rotating the wheel, repeating etc and seemed to get almost 1L out. Replaced it all and the power steering is feeling good.

For future reference the return line is the line that is higher i.e. the one closest to the front (99% sure).
