Hey guys,

I am potentially interested in upgrading the wheels on my N15 SSS for both performance and aesthetic reasons.
I was wondering if anyone had some insight into what wheel size / offset is best suited for N15's and what would fill out the guards nicely?

I have also just bought some 205/50/R15 tyres which I was going to get mounted to the stock SSS rims, so I would prefer something that would fit these tyres.

Thanks,
- Adrian

I've got the same size types on my n15. Will see if I can find a decent side on pic if that helps.

No idea. Came with the car. This is the only pic I have on my phone.
Not a great pic, sorry. Still at work so if it's not raining in the morning I'll take a side on pic if you want.

15x7" +35 will be the best/sensible choice. Anything else 15" is usually at least 8" wide and a +15/20/25 offset which will look like **** unless you have rolled your guards and have it slammed on coilovers.

you can run up to 18's if you really want, but its not for everyone lol. any wider than 8" or 215 wide tyres and it will scrub at the front when steering full lock (depending on offset and tyres, but generally speaking). Keep in mind you cant adjust the rear camber so fit aggressive-ish wheels needs a lot of baseball bat.

tyre/wheel size calculator is handy for comparisons: http://www.willtheyfit.com/

Thanks for the pics Yakabot.

Thanks for the info Leroy, I didn't know there was such a thing as a tyre/wheel calculator, thats super helpful to understand the difference between stock and aftermarket.

8 inch wide with about +25 offset will sit right on the guards. I know if i buy brand new wheels im aiming in that ballpark.
8 wide +0 pokes quite alot though before you consider it.

On the topic of sensible choices, it isnt really necessary to go wider than 7 inch due to lack of tire choice in 15 and 16 inch wheels, the widest ive ever found was 225. most brands only go to 205 or 215.
The purpose of 8 inch wide wheels at this point purely becomes aestetic, as its only extra weight for the same tires.
