NICE JOB, but the parts you need are the pressure rings, not the plates ...

Looks like you should have one small chunk of metal floating around in the box (from lower left photo)

I think disassembly of the LSD unit needs to be performed to determine the level of damage. If the 4 way crosspin assembly has also been damaged it could be a good shelf trophy.

I'm not sure but i would imagine that replacing the pressure rings is probably not possible given the rest of the LSD is NLA and plates are common across several units which is the only reason they would be still available.

Please keep us updated if/when you disassemble the LSD.

Bump

It appears that the rebuild kits for our LSDs have been removed from the Nismo Parts Catalogue since 2016, and Nengun currently list them as discontinued. I haven't cross-checked part numbers to see if we can utilise discs from other Nismo LSDs.

So where does that leave us if we need to rebuild our precious LSDs?

Some plates were special some were Nissan OEM. I’d say **** outta luck probably because nothing else good runs an R160 size diff. I think some Subaru’s did/do but no idea of any kind of lsd plate comparability.

This is disappointing though as I just recently managed to get myself another Nismo LSD and had planned to get a plate kit for it, even if it’s just for the shelf.
